Je sais, je suis grave à la bourre. Ce qui commence à devenir une habitude pour les bilans de Décembre depuis quelques années. Il faut dire que c’est le mois le plus chargé de base, mais là avec un gros colis US par dessus, j’ai eu du mal, j’avoue.
Les lectures du mois
Huit critiques, c’est pas mal, même s’il y a un manga et un livre de coloriage dans le lot. J’ai eu plus de lectures bof que de bonnes ce mois-ci (et même une carrément catastrophique), du coup la barre n’était pas spécialement haute. J’ai dû finir les service presse puis ensuite enchaîné sur des lectures de saison donc hormis les deux ouvrages précités, c’est exclusivement romance ^^ Le plus sympa dans tout ça est l’intégrale Un Noël aux urgences.

Ma critique sur Babelio (7/10)
Lorsqu’elle se rend au sommet de la Skalas Tower, Kendra n’a qu’un but : convaincre Balthazar, le maître des lieux, d’abandonner toute poursuite judiciaire contre sa famille. Or l’homme d’affaires grec à la réputation impitoyable n’a que faire de ses arguments. Aussi Kendra se résout-elle à utiliser la seule arme dont elle dispose face à Balthazar – la séduction. Seulement, après s’être liée à son ennemi durant une nuit époustouflante, elle se découvre enceinte…
Je l’aurais jamais acheté par moi-même (well… je ne l’ai pas fait à sa sortie VO, d’ailleurs), mais finalement, C’ÉTAIT TRÈS BON. J’aime pas du tout ce genre d’ambiance haineuse d’habitude (ni le trope « grossesse ») mais l’autrice a réussi à rendre le tout crédible et le résultat est vraiment sympa.

Je crois que des trois séries, c’est celle-ci qui m’attire le « moins » (c’est très relatif), mais pas question de passer à côté pour autant.

Du coup, j’avais des points à cramer et le moment où on te dit « prends n’importe quel truc dans le magasin c’est gratuit » fait toujours plaisir. J’ai craqué pour ça parce que *coffret*.

Gian de Luca, duc italien et magnat des affaires, sait que la ravissante Ariana Romano lui est interdite. Non seulement elle est la fille de son mentor mais sa réputation d’héritière gâtée et sulfureuse n’est plus à faire. Toutefois, une nuit, Gian perd la raison et attire Ariana jusqu’à son lit. Dans l’intimité, sa douce maîtresse se révèle bien différente de celle qu’il croyait connaître. Et Gian ne songe déjà plus qu’à prolonger leur liaison au parfum de scandale…
Laissé de côté en VO, Fr me l’a collé dans mon colis d’abonnement. Ça n’avait pas l’air si mal que ça, juste pas très original…
Finalement, l’originalité tient surtout dans le côté gamine de l’héroïne, mais c’était tout de même très sympa.

Emma a passé une nuit époustouflante dans les bras de Leonardo Ravenino, le milliardaire qu’elle aurait dû se contenter d’interviewer pour son journal. Aussi, quand il la rejette au lendemain de leur étreinte, c’est le cœur brisé qu’elle couche sur le papier sa frustration et tout le mal qu’elle pense de celui qui l’a séduite. Hélas, alors que ces confidences devaient rester intimes, voilà qu’elles sont publiées par accident ! Dès lors, Emma n’a d’autre choix que d’affronter la colère de Leonardo, au moment même où elle se découvre enceinte de lui…
Gros bof. Ça commençait pas mal, mais ça se dégrade au bout d’un moment. Je ne l’aurais pas relu.
Côté dolls…
… pas moins de cinq arrivées pour Noël. J’ai fait des photos pourries pour leurs plaques mais pas de vrais shootings, même si j’aime bien la vibe de celui de Krysta.
Au début du mois, j’ai fait une photo potable de Slade…
… Mais c’est pour la traditionnelle photo de Noël que j’ai fait un vrai effort en termes de décor et de lumière. N’utilisez jamais de fausse neige, c’est un piège. Je continue à en retrouver dans le lit.
